BIG shout out to Sawyer Shurtleff! Last spring, we got together with our High School Agriculture department. Our students planted seeds and were given instructions on caring for them. Pumpkin was one of the seed options. Sawyer grew his pumpkin and then decided to use it for his Literary Pumpkin Challenge!! WAY TO GO!!

Registration is open for our Corinth-Holders Elementary Fun Run! This is the first step to helping our school reach our fundraising goal this year. Our goal is to add MURALS to our beautiful school. For all students that register before kick-off day, we will choose 5 students to win a free T-shirt and Sticker from our spirit wear collection. This week is Red Ribbon Week at CHES! We are celebrating “being kind to our minds” with a week of themed days that are tied to challenges meant to better our minds and bodies with healthy habits. Attention all knitters and crocheters: CHES is joining Operation Gratitude's CLEAR YOUR STASH initiative to help send handmade scarves and hats to our service members. We will be collecting these handmade items up until 10/26. You can use ANY color, ANY stitch, and ANY pattern for your hats and scarves! The only rules are that you must use a size 4 worsted weight yarn (no bulky yarn), your scarves must be between 4" - 5" wide and 48" - 50" long, and if you are making hats, please don't add a pom-pom. All items can be turned into the front office. If you have any questions, please reach out to Melissa Waring or Ashley Morton.
