From the JCPS CCP Office:

All CCP students are required to pay CAPS (Campus Access Parking and Security) Fees to Johnston Community College (JCC) for each semester they are enrolled.  The total amount of your fee depends upon the total number of credit hours you are enrolled in for the upcoming semester.  To determine how many credits you are enrolled in, log into Self-Service on the JCC website and click on "Student Planning."  Multiply the total number of credits you are enrolled in by four ($4) to determine the amount you will need to pay JCC.  

IMPORTANT: Do not pay the initial amount in JCC Self-Service at this time. The fees that are currently posted in your account will be adjusted after classes begin on January 6, 2025.  The current amount of your invoice is what you would pay as a non-CCP Student. JCC will send billing notifications after January 16, 2025 to your JCC email account or by mail.  The deadline to pay your fees will be January 31, 2025.

If you are unable to pay this fee, and you have a documented financial hardship, you and your parent or guardian can complete steps one (1) and two (2) below on or before Thursday, January 9, 2025 to be considered for a CAPS Fee Waiver. JCPS will pay the total cost of your CAPS Fees if you complete steps one (1) and two (2) on or before January 9, 2025, and you have a documented financial hardship.

The deadline to submit both forms is Thursday, January 9, 2025.  The form in step # 1 will be turned off on Thursday, January 9 at 11:59 pm.

The CAPS Fee Waiver process is two (2) steps:

BOTH FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED on or before Thursday, January 9, 2025

STEP 1 - Complete the JCPS CAPS Fee Waiver Request Form - This is the form that will confirm your plan to request a CAPS Fee Waiver.  This form will be turned off on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:59 pm.

STEP 2 - Complete the JCPS Student Waiver Request Form  -  To be completed by the parent. 
Completion of this form will enable us to verify if you have met the requirements for a JCPS CAPS Fee Waiver.
