Many educators, agencies, and community members play key roles in keeping students in school. Our graduation coaches, social workers, and counselors play a direct role in identifying at-risk students and establishing supportive relationships with them. Johnston County Schools employ a student advocate/graduation coach at each high school. Each middle school within the district has a representative who serves in an indirect capacity as graduation coach and attends regularly scheduled trainings on a monthly basis. The county employs a Director of Student Services who spearheads all dropout prevention programs with the guidance and support of the Assistant Superintendent for Support Services.

If you or someone you know is struggling in school, it is of vital that support is sought. If you do not receive immediate support, call again and do give up because your education matters to us.
