Mrs. Hester comes to Princeton from Salisbury, NC where she worked in the Rowan-Salisbury School system since 1995. She began her career as a high school mathematics teacher. Mrs. Hester has also coached volleyball, basketball and tennis. She graduated from Guilford College with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education. While teaching and coaching, she received a Masters Degree in Mathematics Education from Wake Forest University and a Masters Degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. Mrs. Hester has recently moved to Wilson with her husband, Chip. They have two children, Morgan and Tori. Morgan recently graduated from Catawba College and is attending Wake Forest University for a Masters in Business Analytics. Tori is currently attending Troy University in Alabama where she is also playing volleyball.

Dr. Rex Howard is in his seventh year at Princeton Middle/High School. He has been employed by JCPS for twenty years. He is a native of Deep Run, NC where he graduated from South Lenoir High School. He completed his studies at East Carolina University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, a Masters degree in School Administration, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership.
He and his wife, Amanda, are parents to four children, Andrew, Jared, Caleb and Rachel. “I enjoy working at Princeton Middle/High School. I enjoy the family atmosphere and the support of the community. It is truly a great place to work.”

Mrs. Rose was born and raised in Johnston County. After attending Smithfield-Selma High School, she attended Meredith College where received her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and obtained her teaching licensure. Mrs. Rose began her teaching career in Johnston County teaching 4th grade. While teaching, she received her Masters Degree in School Administration from NC State University (GO PACK). Mrs. Rose and her husband, Dustin, have one son, Will, who is a little bulldog at Princeton Elementary.
