Mr. Bennett is a long time educator with an impressive list of honors, awards, community involvement commitments, and professional experience. His career as a Johnston County Public Schools administrator began at Benson Elementary School, where he was appointed Assistant Principal. In subsequent years, Mr. Bennett served as principal of South Smithfield Primary School, Benson Middle School, South Campus Middle School, and Dixon Road Elementary School, as well as Director for Classified Employment. His years of experience has been called upon several times as he has performed various stints as interim principal across JCPS. Mr. Bennett's most recent interim position was at Corinth Holders High.
