Amy Wellbrook is a 6th grade Math teacher at Riverwood Middle School, and helps Johnston County Public Schools move from good to great every single day.
As the Sixth Grade Team Chair, she keeps everything and everyone organized and running like a well oiled machine. When teachers are absent, Wellbrook ensures that substitutes have what they need. If there is a need to absorb classes, she makes sure everything is in place.
Wellbrook has also taken over teaching extra students, due to the loss of one of the math teachers at our school. So, now she is responsible for ensuring these students, along with the students she was already teaching, make growth and progress on all benchmarks and assessments.
Wellbrook is kind and caring to her students and all staff, and, therefore, she is a highly respected member of the Riverwood Middle community. Amy Wellbrook is a prime example of a teacher who wants her students, colleagues, and the entire school to go from good to great!
