Families, community members, and high school students are invited to be Summer Reading Buddies! Come listen to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students read during Summer Reading Camp morning arrival.
No experience is required! Our goal is for each student in Summer Reading Camp to experience the joy of reading with a friend.
Volunteers will need to be registered with JCPS. Summer Reading Camp will be held every Monday through Thursday from June 20th to July 13th. July 3rd and 4th are holidays. Reading Buddy time is 7:45 to 8:15 a.m. Interested individuals are able to select their preferred school site and identify the days they are available to volunteer.
