Meet Your Army Day was sponsored by the United States Army 18th Airborne Corps out of Ft. Liberty, Fayetteville, NC. On 7 November 2024, over 20 regional school JROTC Programs from all services participated in the day's events. The students participated in live demonstrations as well as static displays of equipment, including helicopters, ground vehicles, and heavy equipment such as water purification sleds and mess trailers. The students also met the soldiers of the 18th Airborne Corps and learned firsthand about their jobs and the many career opportunities and advantages of serving in the United States Army. The finale to the day was learning from the soldiers how to prepare the iconic Meals Ready to Eat, better known as an MRE's.
