Information about a drugs uncovered parent event

Register Here: Benson Middle School is teaming up with the Poe Center for Health Education to host a valuable event for parents and adults. On November 14th, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the school will present "Drugs Uncovered: What Parents and Adults Need to Know."

This interactive program empowers parents and adults serving upper elementary, middle, and high school students. "Drugs Uncovered" offers insights into current trends surrounding alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, highlights health risks related to adolescent use, educates on North Carolina alcohol laws and parental responsibility, and provides techniques for open communication with adolescents.

This event promises to be an informative and supportive resource for anyone who cares for or works with young people. For inquiries, please reach out to Virginia Johnson at v.johnson@poehealth.org. Don't miss this opportunity to stay informed and connected with the youth in our community.
