Play

On January 30th, JCC’s Drama Club, Jag Theatrics, brought Thornton Wilder’s Our Town to life in a captivating production directed by Zachary Schultz. With impressive storytelling and heartfelt performances, the play honored the timeless classic in a memorable way.

Among the talented cast were three CTLA students—Alina Hernandez Patlan, Nour Issa, and Alexandra Schicchi—who delivered outstanding performances alongside their fellow actors. Our Town showcased the passion and dedication of the students involved in Jag Theatrics, leaving the audience eager to see what they will bring to the stage next.

Nour Issa, who played Mr. Webb, shared his experience:

“This January, I auditioned for JCC Theatrics’ rendition of Our Town and was cast as Mr. Webb. It was incredible. This was my first time acting, and I was fortunate to have an amazing director and cast who supported me throughout the journey. The experience taught me a lot about myself and, without a doubt, is one of the best experiences I’ve had at CTLA.”

For students looking to step outside their comfort zone, meet new people, and discover hidden talents, Jag Theatrics offers an incredible opportunity. We congratulate our CTLA performers on their outstanding work and look forward to their future productions!
