McGee's Crossroads Middle School seventh grade math teacher Shane Maisonet was recognized as an All-Star by the FSIoffice Teacher All-Star program. The program provides an opportunity to celebrate the meaningful work and commitment teachers do to inspire, lead, and support students every day. Out of the great teachers in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee, Mr. Maisonet was chosen and celebrated as the FSIoffice October Teacher All-Star!! McGee's Crossroads Middle School Halloween Villians Nickel Wars, sponsored by MXMS PTA, will be held October 24-31, 2025. Each grade level will have a Halloween Villian jar in the front lobby and bus entrance. During morning arrival, students may bring extra change from home and place it in their grade level jar.
Grades can sabotage one another by dropping quarters, dimes, and pennies into the jars of other grade levels.

McGee's Crossroads Middle School will be participating in the 2025 Red Ribbon Week®, which will take place from October 23 to October 31, 2025. This year's theme is "Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free." Red Ribbon Week® honors the memory of DEA Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena by encouraging people of all ages to make drug-free choices and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

McGee's Crossroads Middle School will be participating in the 14th Annual Socktober, an initiative to support local homeless shelters. Students are encouraged to donate socks to their homeroom class beginning Monday, October 6th through Friday, October 31st. Socks are the least donated item in homeless shelters throughout our local community. The initiative, started in October 2011, has received donations from all over the world. Please donate to this great cause as we support our community!
