Based on the current weather forecast, Johnston County Public Schools will continue normal operations on Monday, September 16, 2024. However, all after-school and evening campus activities and events have been canceled due to the forecast.
We understand that this decision will inconvenience many after-school events, however, student and staff safety is our primary concern.
It is our district’s goal to make our school communities as prepared as possible for emergency situations, including inclement weather. This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution, per the guidance of local and state emergency service officials.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we navigate this storm event. We encourage everyone to follow the guidance of local weather officials, and have a safe evening!
All JCPS after-school and evening campus activities and events will be canceled on Monday, September 16, 2024. After School Care will close at 5:30.

Good evening MEadow families. I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend. Our first announcement concerns carpool and we need your help.. For K-3 in the mornings, we need for our families to create two lines to help try and keep families from sitting on Hwy 50. A staff member will alternate lines so that only one line is dropping off students. This will help us in making future decisions. While in carpool, morning or afternoon, please pay attention to the vehicles around you. Occasionally someone will get distracted and not see other cars moving. We need everyone's help so that we have a safe process for all. On Wednesday and Thursday we will have a home athletic events. Please pay attention to the signs as we will direct spectators to park in the bus lot.
Our athletic schedule for the week is as follows. Volleyball and Soccer play at North Johnston Monday and home against Selma Wednesday. Our Football team plays home against Selma on Thursday.
Good evening. The following is a message from our PTO. Our weekly message will follow at 6:30.The Meadow SWAG shop is now open. Flyers were sent home Tuesday.
