Please congratulate the Boy's Golf Team on finishing 4th place overall in the 2A Eastern Regional Golf Championships yesterday at Ironwood Golf Club in Greenville. The boys finished with a team score of 357 and were 10 strokes shy of placing 3rd and going to the State Championships as a team. Also congratulate Jesse Richardson and Jackson King as they tied for 3rd place in individual scores, both scoring 78. They missed being tied for 2nd by two strokes. The course they played is home to the East Carolina University men's and women's golf team. Both of these young men will advance to the NCHSAA State Championships at Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe next Monday and Tuesday. Great job to these individuals and to the team.
