North Johnston Middle School

Preston Thompson, an 8th grader here at North Johnston Middle, was recognized at the November County Board Meeting for his compassionate characteristic. Compassion is defined as treating others as you would like to be treated. Prestons teachers and peers says he is quick to share a kind word, compliment, or smile with others. He also lends a hand to other classmates who may need some help. Administrators and teachers describe him as kind with integrity and a great sense of humor. Thompson's peers say he is a loyal friend who is always there for them. Way to go Preston; we are so proud of you!
