Shout out to five of our FFA members who traveled to Nash Community College on Wednesday, March 19th to compete in various events at the East Central Regional FFA Rally.
Kinsley Shumaker competed in the Middle Grades Creed Speaking contest and received 6th place in the region.
Aubrey Faircloth, Harper Woodring, Kenzie Wallace, and Addolyn Beck competed in the Introduction to Horticulture contest and placed 15th in the region, and was the 2nd highest scoring middle school team! This contest primarily consisted of high school students, so our team did an excellent job as a middle school team!
Our FFA Adviser, Ally Lavely, accompanied our students at the event.
Our NJMS chapter was also recognized at the awards ceremony for previously held events this year. We are so proud of our FFA students!
