Mia is a great example of high expectations. She is new to Polenta this year and has come in ready to learn and grow here at school. She works hard to complete the tasks and always asks for help and feedback to improve her work. She actively participates in her learning by raising her hand and asking questions. When she turns and talks to her partner she is always on task and having productive conversations. Mia is also a great friend who helps her friends when they need it. Mia also does many things without being asked. She spends most of her recess going around the playground and cleaning up trash without being asked. She cares for our school and earth and strives to take care of it, even when others are not watching.
You're invited to attend on Thursday, November 14th @5:30pm.
No School Tomorrow Due to Veterans Day Holiday. Thank you to those who have served and those who are currently serving to protect our country.
We are continuing to collect canned food to help Cleveland Area Backpack Buddies for
the holidays. This program feeds families with food insecurities on weekends and during holiday seasons. They are in need of full size cans of soups and Chef Boyardee meals. We will continue collecting cans until November 22. Our goal is to collect 1,000 cans which would be 1 can per student at Polenta.
BUS 701 is running 15 to 20 minutes behind this morning.
Louisyanna demonstrates Compassion throughout the whole day. She is the first one to offer to help a friend in need, she checks on friends who aren't feeling their best, and she is constantly saying, "Let me help you with that."
