Last night, JCPS celebrated the 2024 Leading with the Heart recipients!💝 The event, inspired by Mike Krzyzewski’s book, “Leading with the Heart,” recognizes those staff members throughout the school system that demonstrate leadership, compassion, and heart on a daily basis. One person from every school as well as central services was nominated by their peers, because of their unwavering commitment and dedication to their role. Dear Families,   Thank you for your support of Riverwood Middle School and the investments you make in your children’s lives. The students at Riverwood Middle School have done an amazing job supporting our school and there is still one day left to help our school and qualify for participating in the 2nd annual RMS Color Games Fundraiser Event being held tomorrow! As a reminder, we’re raising money for continued support of our athletic programs, school beautification initiatives fostering a positive and supportive environment to promote student's academic, emotional, and spiritual growth, continued advocacy for RMS families and so much more! To qualify for participation, students must raise a minimum of $30 in total donations to participate in the Color Games Event. Also, please note that students participating in the Color Games Event that it is recommended to bring a change of clothes, and sunglasses will also be beneficial! Hello Raven Families! We have been able to secure one of the reps from Apptegy/ROOMS for a Tech Support session for parents, teachers, and staff for THIS TUESDAY @ 6:00pm in the cafeteria. Please enter through the doors closest to the cafeteria to avoid the BBall crowd in the gym. ROOMS is the communication method that is most direct to reach our teachers. If you have not established a Rooms account yet, please plan to attend this session to get everything set up so you won’t miss any communication to/from our staff!

Under the guidance of local emergency officials and out of an abundance of caution, JCPS will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Everyone is encouraged to drive with caution when traveling.

Christmas Break is just a couple of days away!🎄🎁 For students following the traditional school calendar, Wednesday, December 20, 2023 is an early release day. Then students will be out of school from Thursday, December 21, 2023 - Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Students return to school on Wednesday, January 2, 2024.

Attendees will be provided 15 minute information sessions about the various programs offered to 8th graders and a Q&A session. Students are able to apply for the programs now! The application window for students wanting to attend High School Choice Programs will end on February 21, 2024.
