Johnston County Public Schools hosted its Legislative Breakfast this morning. State legislators, representatives, senators, Johnston County Board of Commissioners, Johnston County Mayors, and stakeholders joined the Johnston County Board of Education, cabinet members, and staff to discuss various school related topics. Topics included: academic performance, capital, EC, and low-wealth funding, Parental Bill of Rights, parental leave, and more. The discussions provided insight into these topics and were a springboard for conversations in the future. JCPS is thankful for the continued support offered to the students and families of of our school system.
