Good Evening, Pirate Families, This is Michelle Butler, Interim Principal at Corinth-Holders Elementary - the BEST school in Johnston County with your weekly message. Although it’s a short one, It’s going to be another great week to be a Pirate! Thank you to all our families for joining us last Friday for our ROOMS information night and our Multilingual night. We had a great turnout and were able to connect more families to our school and classrooms. It’s hard to believe but we are already at the midpoint of our year. Wednesday is the last day of the second quarter. There will be no school for students on Thursday or Friday. Thanks to your fundraising efforts, our new school murals are set to be installed on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Wednesday evening is our Winter Festival 2024: A Midwinter Story Voyage at CHES from 5:30 to 7:30. The teachers have been hard at work putting together a wonderful evening with activities for us all to enjoy. Some of the activities include a winter storywalk and a third-grade musical performance just to name a few. The PTO will be selling carline raffle tickets, a food truck will be on-site and even Jeremiah’s Ice will be here selling gelatos and Italian ice. We will also be hosting a medical fair at the same time so be sure to stop by the cafeteria for more information. It is going to be a magical night and we hope to see everyone there! Have a wonderful week and thank you for your continued support and partnership. See you on Wednesday. CHES is the Best. Go, Pirates!
