Good evening. This is the 2nd of 2 messages regarding graduation specifics. Please listen carefully to this message in its entirety. Parents and guests, when you arrive no earlier than 7:30 for Friday morning’s graduation, be sure to follow the parking attendant’s directions and they will get you to your proper parking location. If you need to utilize disability parking, you must have the appropriate placard displayed. Disability parking will be located beside the gym. There will be parking attendants providing direction to these specific spots. Only ticket holders will be allowed in the stadium for graduation. Gates will open to ticket holders at 7:45 a.m. The two gates open for graduation will be the main gates to the home side if your tickets are for the home side of the stadium and the gates closest to the baseball field if your tickets are for the visitors side. We will announce if there is a change in date and time due to inclement weather as soon as possible. This information will be posted on the website and a phone call will go home. The graduation ceremony will be live streamed on youtube. The instructions for viewing are available on the school website. Please remember the forecast for tomorrow’s ceremony includes high humidity. Please be sure to attend well hydrated and we will have water for sale in the concession stands for $1 per bottle. This is an exciting event. We need all spectators to be respectful of all graduates when applauding. Continued applause and yelling will not allow the graduates called after your graduate to hear their name. Please hold applause until all seniors are recognized. The use of umbrellas is not allowed in the stadium, even if there is excessive heat, as this would not allow those behind you to see the stage. No lawn chairs, stadium chairs, balloons, noise makers or coolers are permitted at the ceremony. Spectators attending the graduation ceremony will be expected to remain in the stands during the ceremony and will not be allowed onto the field. We ask that all spectators remain seated during the ceremony in order to refrain from impeding the view of others. Spectators will not be allowed to line the fence around the stadium. Please only bring the number of guests that you have a ticket for. Lastly, please plan your arrival time considering traffic coming onto campus will be hectic and you will need time to walk to the stadium. Gates will close to the stadium at 8:45am. Also, please be patient as we are exiting the parking lot after graduation. There will be parking lot attendants facilitating the departure process. In an effort to provide a safe and speedy entrance into the ceremony only clear bags will be allowed in during the security screening where all attendees will have to enter through metal detectors. We have greatly enjoyed working with these Pirates over the last 4 years and know they will go on to do great things. Congratulations, and as always, thanks for all you do and Go Pirates

Good Evening Seniors and Senior Parents. We are extremely excited about our June 7th graduation ceremony. This message and the one you will receive tomorrow night are important ones regarding the ins and outs of graduation. These two messages will be lengthy, but please listen to this information in its entirety so you will be knowledgeable of the specifics of this important ceremony. Seniors who still have school devices including chromebooks, textbooks, or owe any fees or fines please make sure you have returned or paid for these prior to noon tomorrow. Graduates will meet in the CHHS Main Gym at 5:00pm on Thursday June 6th for graduation practice. Students that do not attend graduation practice will NOT be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony. Graduates will receive their tickets at this graduation practice. There are no extra tickets, so it is imperative for graduates to keep up with the ones they receive at the graduation practice. These five tickets are for entry into the ceremony. Your tickets will be either for the Home or Visitor side, please pay close attention and enter at the correct entrance. Tickets can only be used at the locations listed on the ticket. Every individual who attends the graduation ceremony will need a ticket regardless of age. Please do not plan to arrive on campus Friday morning prior to 7:30. We ask that all Graduates arrive to campus with their parents no later than 7:45am on Friday to begin line up for graduation. Only graduates are allowed in the building at this time. Graduates should not bring any personal items into the building, all phones, purses, hangers and other items will not be able to be stored in the building. In an effort to provide a safe and speedy entrance into the ceremony only clear bags will be allowed in during the security screening where all attendees will have to enter through metal detectors. The following items are prohibited in the stadium during the graduation ceremony: weapons, noise makers, umbrellas, balloons, stadium chairs, pets, tobacco and alcohol. Johnston County dress code is expected to be followed by our graduates. Refer to the graduation handbook for clarification. This information can be found on our school's website. As always, thanks for all you do, go pirates!

Good Afternoon Pirates - We had a great start to our Spring Final Exams. Please be reminded that students need to have a note to be dismissed after exams in carpool or as drivers. Only parents who are coming into the building should park up front. Everyone else should go through the carpool line. Thank You for your cooperation in this matter. Have a great afternoon.
