Did you know...
JCPS is 1 of 12 districts to exceed pre-pandemic achievement?
Not only that, six of our amazing schools exited low performing status. All student subgroups are above pre-pandemic achievement, and JCPS is closing the achievement gaps.

Good evening Racer families, this is Ms. Durko with some announcements and reminders for the week.
We are thrilled to report that carpool is wrapping up much faster in the afternoons. We would like to request that parents picking their students up in carpool arrive on campus no later than 4:00. We have had many students that have had to wait in the office for parents to arrive, and we would love to get everyone loaded up safely as close to 4:15 as possible each day. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
On Wednesday, Spirit Sticks will be on sale in the front hallway before school for students for $1.00 a piece .
This Thursday students in all JCPS elementary schools will be receiving beginning of the year assessment reports such as MAP and MClass reports in lieu of traditional JCPS Progress Reports. Traditional progress reports will be sent home in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Quarters.
This Friday, September 27th is an Early Release day for all JCPS schools. Afternoon dismissal will begin at 1:45.
We hope everyone has a wonderful week and remember, once a Racer, always a Racer.

Recent data shows that JCPS performed extremely well during the 2023-2024 year, lowering the number of low performing schools to ONLY 1, making the district the largest district with the lowest percentage of low performing schools!

Good evening parents, this is Ms. Durko with some reminders.
If you are a parent of a walker, we have been contacted by both River Dell Townes and also The Crossings neighborhoods. They have asked us to remind all RDE families to not park on their parking pads or cross through their personal yards when coming to pick up or drop off your children at RDE. We appreciate your cooperation with this.
Tomorrow night, September 17th, is RDE Student Success Night. We encourage all 1st-5th grade parents to attend this important event where you will be presented lots of information from teachers to help you help your children be successful. Families with last names beginning with the letters A-L should attend the session that is from 5:00-6:00, and families with last names beginning with the letters M-Z should attend the session that is from 6:30-7:30. This is not a floating event. 1st-5th grade teachers will have detailed presentations to share. Childcare will be provided for any RDE students.
We hope everyone has a safe night and remember, once a Racer, always a Racer.
