The Rams were led by Caleb Lynn on the mound tossing a complete game while striking out nine batters. The Rams play again Friday night at home against Garner. Seniors!! If you ordered a cap and gown after March 14th, they have arrived! Please pick them up in the main office. Grad walk permission forms are due Friday. Handicap accommodation forms are also due Friday! Coach Riley: For those interested in participating in Spring Football workouts beginning next week there will be a parent meeting this evening at 6pm in the DLL. Johnston County Public Schools hosted its 31st annual Flame For Learning Awards celebration this evening, naming William Marshall as the 2025 Teacher of the Year! Marshall, a teacher and alumnus of West Johnston Wildcats, was one of four finalists, which included Heather Bryant of Clayton High School, Lois D'Agostino of West View Elementary, and Brooke Hayward of Riverwood Elementary School. 4/9/25 It's National Assistant Principal's Week! Today we celebrate Mrs. Saxon, who has been part of Cleveland's Ram Fam since the start of the school year. She comes to us after many years in an elementary school and we are happy to have her. Please share a kind word with Mrs. Saxon when you see her today! Coach Morris: The Junior Varsity Softball team picked up a 9-1 nonconference victory over Apex Friendship yesterday. The Varsity Softball team picked up a 15-0 conference victory over South East Raleigh yesterday. Avery Morgan was the winning pitcher striking out 4. The Softball team will travel to Fuquay on Thursday.

4/8/25 It's National Assistant Principal's Week! Mrs. Blake is one or our Assistant Principals, she works with many students through our CTE , Languages, and Fine Arts departments. She also helps support our Beginning teachers. She came to work with us after many years in the high school English classroom . Be sure to thank Mrs. Blake for all that she does when you see her today. Ms. Myers: Good morning! Today for BSU Spirit Week is Throw back! Our generation likes to acknowledge the style and artist of the 80's and 90's such as, Tupac, Destiny's Child, Boy's -Men, and more. Tomorrow is HBCU Pride Day! Mr. Rainville: Attention 9th &10th Graders: The Freshman and Sophomore Student Council is excited to host Under Classman Field Day will be this Friday, April 11th during 4th block. Field Day will be on the soccer field; any student with A/B honor roll will be eligible to attend. Bring cash for concessions and ice cream and sno cones! Today we're wearing brown& beige to celebrate our different skin colors. Tomorrow is Throw back Day! Also don't forget to sign up to watch the Fashion show this Friday during Ramped Up A&B in the cafeteria. Attention all Fashion Show models! Your Teacher permission slip was due last Friday. If you have not turned it in, please bring it to Ms. Myers (702) or Ms. Huffman (616) immediately. Also check your email for more information and make sure you submit the Google Form with a description of your outfit.

4/4/25 Attention Seniors! Are you planning to go to JCC this fall after graduation, and need help with the application or have questions about course registration? JCC admissions will be here on Tuesday to help seniors. Email your counselor to be added to the list. Ms. Myers& Ms. Huffman: Attention all students modeling in the Fashion Show next week! 4/2/25 Coach Morris: The Varsity Softball team picked up a 10-0 victory over Clayton yesterday. Gracie Rictchi led the Lady Rams offensively with Base hits. Karsyn Hudacky struck out 10 Comet batters and was the winning pitcher. The Lady Rams travel to Clayton Thursday. The Junior Varsity softball team picked up a 15-0 win over Clayton yesterday. Attention Seniors Reminder that you have a senior meeting tomorrow at 8:15. We will share information concerning graduation, Senior Academic Awards, Senior Events and Final Transcripts. 3/31/25 The Varsity softball team picked up a 2-1 victory over Garner Friday night. Karsyn Hudacky was the winning pitcher striking out 8 Trojans. Karsyn also hit a solo home run in the contest. The Lady Rams play at home tomorrow night against Clayton. Junior varsity plays at 5pm and Varsity plays at 7pm. Attention: Everyone who's modeling in the BSU Fashion show, there will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday during Ramped Up B. in Ms. Myer's room 702. Karsyn Hudacky was the winning pitcher striking out Five. The Lady Rams take on Harnett Central at 6pm today at Home. The JV Softball team also picked up a win Friday over Willow Spring. The JV Softball team will take on Harnett Central at 4pm at home today.

FFA: Yesterday several teams competed at the FFA east central regional rally. Ayden Capps placed 1st in the FFA Creed. The Agricultural Mechanics team of Henry Blackman, Timothy Eschedor, Suzy Piatek and Preston Sharp placed 2nd. The Creed , Ag Mechanics, Forestry and Introduction to Horticulture team will all be moving onto states.

3/19/25 Coach Morris: The Varsity Soft ball team picked up am 11/2 victory over Corinth Holders to remain undefeated in conference play. Karsyn Hudacky was the winning pitcher striking out 12 Pirate batters. Maddie Murphy had 2 home runs in the contest. The Varsity Soft ball team plays at home this Friday night against Willow Spring at 7pm.
