1/16/25 Ms. Barnhart: National Honor Society wats to remind everyone that we are collecting soda tabs to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House, these homes allow families of very sick children in the hospital to stay free of charge. Place your tabs in the designated containers located in class rooms and the front office. Save tabs at home and bring them in. Ask any member of NHS if you have questions.

1/15/25 Student Services: Girls in the Class of 2026, are you interested in learning more about a scholarship opportunity? A representative from the distinguished young women will be here Friday during Ram Time A to learn more. Sign up under Ms. Pardue in Student Services. Ms. Rose: Early Bird Prom Tickets go on sale next week! Tickets will be available January 21st for $45.

1/15/25 Coach Parker: congratulations to the JV Girls Basketball team for their double overtime win over previously undefeated Southeast Raleigh. The Lady Rams had a come from behind win, and were led by Lindsay Daughtrey with 11 points, and Khloe Cotten with 10 points. The JV girls will be back in action on Friday at Corinth Holders. Mr. Owen: There will be a Men's Golf interest meeting on Friday 1/17 during Ramped Up A in room 326. Any golfer interested in trying out should plan to attend the meeting. Information on Dates, paperwork, tryouts and team expectations will be covered.

1/13/25 Attention Class of 2025: We still have a lot of seniors who have note ordered caps and gowns for graduation. Please get those orders in before February 1st when the price goes up. Packets are in the front office with directions on how to order on Herff Jones' website. STUNT: There will be a stunt interest meeting Tuesday, January 14th Ramped Up B in Room 610. RAM Academy is back up and running Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school in the Media Center. Tutoring is offered by our fabulous teachers in all of our core classes. Transportation is not provided-have rides arranged for 4pm sharp. Ms. White: JoCo Teen Drivers will meet on January 14th during Ramped up B. Please see Mrs. White if you have any questions.

1/6/25 Ms. Barnhart: Spring 2025 CCP Courses begin today. You must log in to your course today to be counted present. CCP students who need help accessing their accounts will need to contact Jolt at JCC. Driver's Ed.: The next Cleveland Driver's Ed Class will be held a the end of January on campus. Sign-up on our Driver's Ed website Monday and Tuesday! The website is bit.ly/clevelanddrivered.

Here's another construction project update... The second floor slab went down earlier this week at Cleveland High School. The Cleveland High project is moving along nicely and is on track to be completed in June 2025! #GreatThingsAreHappeningInJCPS

12/12/24 Student Council : Congrats to Mrs. Orilio's 1st block, They brought in the most donations for the animal shelter and won Bojangles biscuits. Thank you to everyone who brought in supplies.

12/11/24 Coach McIver: Congratulations to the wrestling team for starting conference duals with a win defeating Clayton 48-21 Coach White: The Varsity Women's basketball team suffered a tough 56-41 loss at Athens Drive last night. The Rams were led by 18 points from Lia Dunn, and 8pts from Love Toney. We are back on the court Friday night at West Johnston. Coach Parker : Congratulations to the JV Girls basketball Team for their 41-7 victory over Athens Drive yesterday. The Lady Rams were lead by Haleigh McFarland with 12 points, Lindsay Daughtrey with 8 points and Paris Leysath with 7 points. The JV Rams will be back in action on Friday at West. Ms. Barnhart: You may have seen collection containers in various teachers classrooms for pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Please save those and turn them in to any collection container throughout the school year.

12/10/24 Ms. Brown : This week is the last week to reserve your spot to audition for the spring musical, Grease! Stop by Mr. Millers room to sign-up and grab an audition packet. Auditions are this Saturday 12/14 in the CvHS Auditorium .

12/10/24 Mrs. Slomiany : Mrs. Slomiany is proud to present the Annual Clams Conference started by our very own Ms. Cloughlery. Teachers please bring your classes to walk through this student led presentation about marine science conservation. 12/9/24 FFA : FFA will be having an after school meeting this thursday at 5:30. Join us in your christmas PJ's for a christmas movie and gingerbread houses. Don't forget to bring a lawn chair!

12/9/24 S. Miller: Join us tonight for our winter chorus concert featuring the chorus of CvHS. The concert is free and the CvHS fine arts boosters will be selling concessions during intermission.

12/6/24 Ms. Massengill: DECA attended regionals on Thursday. Congratulations to Brent Games and Mac Stanley on receiving top exam score. Mac Stanley, AJ Venturella, Leah Gilbert, Nathan Hammonds, Cole Abrev and Kyleigh Hamilton were all proficient in their subject area. Congratulations!!

12/5/24 Coach Dudash: The Flag Football team defeated Clayton yesterday 37-14 in round 3 of the state playoffs. The game featured a shutout first half by the Rams defense and an incredible display of offense led by quarterback Izzy Scholar. In round 4 the Rams fell to Ashley High School- finishing out their inaugural season of flag football as a Top 8 team in the state and #1 in Johnston County. Great job ladies!! Ms. Barnhart: All CCP students received an email yesterday concerning verification of the Spring 2025 courses that you registered for. Action is required. Be sure to read your email.

12/4/24 Coach White: The Varsity Women's basketball team lost last night at home against Wakefield. The Rams were led by 14 points from Lia Dann and 8 points-11 rebounds from Martina Paz-Aquino. We are back on the court next Tuesday, on the road for the first time this season at Athens Drive.

12/3/24 Coach Moore: Baseball work-outs today and tomorrow 2:30-4:00. Remember to dress warm. Ms. White : JoCo Teen Drivers have a meeting today during Ramped up B. Please sign up for Ms. White Ramped up B. FFA will be having an in school meeting December 5th during Ramped up A. We will be making Christmas ornaments with Christmas music and cookies. Coach Capps: There will be an interest meeting for Women's Soccer on Thursday during Ramped Up B. Anyone interested in playing should sign up for Mr. Paul Smith's Room 216 on Thursday for Ramped up B. Seniors! Male sure you check your email about an exciting FAFSA event. Follow the instructions for your chance to win a pair of Air Pods Max. DECA is hosting a toy drive. You can bring any new unwrapped toy to the front office or room 237. The age groups for the toys are newborn to teen. All toys are due by noon on December 11th. Ms. Pearce : The Executive Student Council is hosting an animal shelter supply drive to support local animal shelters in the area, through December 10th, drop off items in your first block for the chance of winning Bojangles for your class. The class with the most items donated gets biscuits!
